Good CPU Temp - How to Use it to Keep Heat Away Easily
A good CPU temperature is an important factor in the proper operation of your PC. When you're using your PC for a prolonged period of time, such as working on a document or spreadsheet, the temperature can reach extreme temperatures. You want to be sure that your PC doesn't get too hot so that you can get good performance out of it, even when using your PC at a desk top position.
To test if your PC is operating under load, you need to load a program or piece of software. Typically, this is done by right-clicking your PC and clicking "Start". After the "start" button is pressed, you will be prompted to enter a specific start up Windows load test number. In this case, it may be necessary to increase the size of the gaps between runs in order to get your PC to go below the threshold temperature range. This can take some time to set up but when you do, you'll be able to get your PC into the proper cooling zone under load.
Some people like to use their CPU's for gaming and to use a lot of programs at once. If this is the case, you will want your PC to be set up for maximum performance. To get this done, you should go into the "My Computer" section of the Control Panel. Then, go to the Memory tab. You can change the speed settings for your RAM as well as the amount of RAM you have. Once you have done all of this, you should be able to get your PC to go under maximum temperature range easily.
A third option is to use software. There are some popular programs that monitor your PC's temperature and can tell you whether or not it's getting too hot or too cold. These programs will also let you know when your PC has reached the optimum temperature range so you can avoid reaching the point where your PC will overheat and shut down. When you use these programs, however, you're required to have the monitoring software or you won't be able to monitor your PC properly. In addition, if you don't have these programs, you'll have to rely on outside sources to monitor your load.
Using a program to monitor your PC's temperature is a good idea. But, if you have a good CPU temp, you won't need to bother with software monitoring. Your CPU will maintain a consistent load without going over the temperature limit. So, you'll be able to get the most out of your computer.
