Details【Fast Printing and less maintenance】Mars 2 Pro comes with a 6.08 inch monochrome LCD of 2K HD resolution and only takes 2 seconds per layer exposure to cure resin, which could significantly enhance your printing efficiency. Mono LCD has a much longer lifespan and stable performance during long term printing, thus saves your cost. 【Outstanding prints and ultra accuracy】Brand new light source structure provides more even UV light emission and working together with 2K mono LCD, the printing details and precision are greatly improved and the 3D printed models are fascinating. 【Sturdy build quality】CNC machined aluminum body makes Mars 2 Pro a very formidable machine. Newly-designed sandblasted build plate has a much stronger adherence during printing and enables consistent printing success. Built-in active carbon could absorb the fume of resin and offer you a refreshing printing experience. 【Multi language interface】Mars 2 Pro now supports 12 kinds of languages so customers across the world could operate the 3D printer more conveniently without barriers. The newly added 10 languages are Japanese, Dutch, Korean, French, German, Russian, Italian, Spanish, Turkish and Portuguese. 【Warranty and Service】We provide a 1-year warranty on the whole printer and 6-month warranty for the 2K LCD (FEP film is excluded). Mars 2 Pro comes with 2 extra FEP films for you to replace the original one if needed.
Compared to my old Mars Pro it's a great upgrade. Pros: Prints same models average 2x faster. The screen quality is undeniably better. I've had no unexplained print failures, only from my own mistake when slicing or setting up supports. With proper exposure and lift settings for your resin you get amazing prints. With proper exposure the base layers stick to the print surface like crazy without sanding. Greased the Z axis and no later shifts or other problems. Customer support is quick and good. Comes with 2 extra FLP sheets. Cons: have to be very careful with VAT because screen does not have a protective glass. Fans noisier than previous Pro. Z axis does not have limiter switch. Don't believe all the negative reviews. This is a great machine.User says:
I was hesitant to take the leap when I saw the negative reviews slamming this printer. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about with those reviewers, but I've had nothing but a positive experience with my Mars 2 Pro. For some background, I've been using FDM printers to print minis for D&D these past two years, and have been pretty successful. This printer, however, has me thinking about selling my Ender 3. The print quality is outstanding compared to my Ender 3 and the Mars 2 Pro is just plain easier to use. Maybe this is just generally true of resin printers, I dunno. I had no trouble at all leveling the build plate, and my first print (the Rook file that comes on the included USB drive) was a resounding success. I've printed several other things since then with Elegoo's water washable resin. People here are complaining about the LCD screen being easy to scratch, and not being removable/replaceable. The replaceable thing I guess I can understand as I have a heavily modded Ender 3 and appreciate being able to swap out parts. I don't get the scratching thing. What are people doing to this printer to scratch the LCD? Just don't drag stuff across it and you're fine. Someone here claimed they scratched theirs with paper. I have no idea how. It seems like some folks are being careless with the merchandise. If you're worried about scratching, I'd recommend grabbing some microfiber clothes/lens cleaning cloths while you're on Amazon. This is a good idea just in general, as it is possible to scratch the FEP film at the bottom of the resin vat (not a huge issue, as you can replace it pretty easily). I'd also recommend buying a glass paint scraper to make removing prints from the build plate a snap. The included scrapers are fine quality, but they're just not the right tool for removing prints from the build plate without damaging the plate, the print or yourself. As a beginner's resin/MSLA printer, I can't recommend the Mars 2 Pro enough. I'm looking forward to all of the detailed minis I'll get off of this thing!User says:
I am a full time woodwind maker famous for my Irish Flutes. I have been wanting to make my most popular model out of 3D printed material and save my weary bones for the more expensive and challenging stuff so I looked into 3D printers. The filament kind didn't cut it due to crappy resolution (.3mm) and the lack of durability of the easier to use plastics. Finally the SLP printers became inexpensive enough and improved in quality enough that it would work for me. The resolution of .05mm is perfect for my needs, and the polyurethane resins are the same kind of UV resins that they use for dental fillings. So I shopped around and got for the the Mars Pro, based on reviews at all3dp.com and later on the Pro2. The machine was too short to do the longer joints of my instruments but it was a fairly easy matter to replace the lead screw and the linear side rail with aftermarket ones. The configuration file and Chitubox software allow the extra length. Elegoo sent me extra covers so the machine remains in its own environment while printing. The faster mono screens are great - there is less adhering to the FEP on the bottom of the tray. Tonight I am printing one of my flutes finally and am almost finished with it. In my modified setup I have up to 350mm Z-axis capability! Elegoo has been great - they are interested in what I am doing as it simply expands the possibilities.User says:
This little machine has been able to print every Resin I've tried so far. I've run Siraya Tech Blu, Fast, and Sculpt along with Elegoo Water Washable Ceramic Grey. You do need to use an exposure test to get the correct settings, but after that it's working great. There's a decent community on Facebook and Reddit for any issues.User says:
I have a Sonic mini, so I’m somewhat familiar with using monoscreen, and I really like this machine. It’s a little bit better than the Sonic mini which is what I was hoping for.User says:
My first 3D printer. Had some problems at the start due to my own errors, but after getting some help online, the prints have been amazing. The amount of detail it can print is so good. I am very happy I finally took the plunge into 3D printing with this.User says:
My machine has been mostly good. I'm having an issue where the screen randomly won't cure until a reboot, but support has been extremely responsive. May update this later with more details.User says:
First print, totally successful. Second and third, total failures.. but it was my fault, I'm new to resin printing. Next three, perfect! This printer is so much faster than I expected. None of my prints have taken more than four hours. So far I've only used Elegoo water washable resin, but it has been working flawlessly. Setup was a breeze, bed leveling was simple and quick, now I need a few more of these printers. Very satisfied.User says:
Let me start out by saying this is my first resin printer, I have three other fdm printers. I love this printer. As with all 3D printers there is a learning curve, but the learning curve in this printer was minimal. As you can see from my photo the failed prints are on the left and the successful prints are in the front and on the right and these are not all of the successful 3D prints. The quality is simply amazing.User says:
There is a little bit of a learning curve, but once you get used to it and this printer is great. Elegoo’s customer service is also incredible - they’re always quick to reply with helpful solutions.
