[[VIDEOID:ab3991dce17583fa775e43ae75d8534d]] This is my first 3D printer and first time actually using one as well. For the price I am impressed. I chose the Ender 3 because it was recommended by a friend with one. Seeing some of the prints he did from this machine were impressive especially for the price! The build was fairly simple and straight forward, I do recommend finding a YouTube video for the build as it made things much easier than trying to really follow the included instructions. It also came with some PLA filament to get you started. I use it with Cura for my slicing program. I will say hardest part to this point has been getting the bed leveled. Other than that so far everything else has been smooth going and I am very happy with this machine for the price. I have completed 2 prints so far to make a couple parts for the machine.User says:
[[VIDEOID:de475f45815a0fcd6cd388724773d38b]] For the first time in Amazon, I will be writing a review on something that seems to be really good. I meant seems because I don't know how things will turn out. This printer was not hard to put together, but the instructions are a little bit confusing... So Had to search in YouTube for people who did a better job helping the buyer.I miss a step by step and above all, I missed a label to identify the parts and it's correct position. But for me was a minor annoyance, for you I don't know, how patient are you? It's a great start machine very friendly, but the instructions are not completely helpful if you are new. They talk like you are a experienced 3d assembler.User says:
I was on the fence for a while on 3D printers, bit after lots of procrastinating, I bought this one. I have to say I am totally impressed! This is my first 3D printer. I am not a Hi-Tech guy but I'm a handy DIYer. The assembly is a bit tricky, and the instructions are adequate, but only illustrations. If you have built any RTA furniture, you should be okay.Definitely watch a video on how to level your table, and get a feel for how to set it up. There are great videos out there to help. I printed right from the provided SD card using the control panel.I say it's not for beginners because it's not plug and play, but for the average person who is handy, you should be okay. You definitely won't be disappointed.User says:
I have purchased and built several 3D printers and they were fine examples of the “you get what you pay for” saying. I purchased the “Official Creality Ender 3 Pro 3D Printer with Glass Plate” expecting the same. However I had this assembled and printing within two hours. I am very impressed with this printer. Print quality was excellent. This one was for a friend's grandson. I will be ordering one for myself soon. Ran a quick test print and stopped it after an hour to see the print quality. I attached photos.User says:
I am a current mechanical engineering student and was hoping to buy an entry-level 3D printer to mess around with over the summer and practice some CAD/prototyping skills. I had heard so many good things about the Ender 3 and Ender 3 Pro that I had to see just how nice they were compared to some of the student accessible printers at school. I can say hands down that the Ender 3 Pro is worth every penny that it costs. It just works right out of the box and being able to play around with a lot more printer and slicer settings at home than I could at college has greatly grown my knowledge of 3D printing and made the whole process even more enjoyable. I could just sit for hours watching this thing extrude layer after layer of filament.User says:
This is my first printer and wasn't even seen a 3D printer in real before this. Assembly was ok (FYI: there are better videos on youtube than the manufacturer's video). The print quality blows my mind (there were failures too) with the little knowledge that I have in 3D printing. After spending a few months reading, learning, and playing with this printer, I can say this is one of the best investments I made. This is very satisfying. After looking at some of the more experienced people's prints on the internet, I think I have excellent prints (not because of I am an expert in 3D printing :) but the ease of use and the quality of the printer)User says:
Excellent, Take time finding the right videos to help get it correctly setup so you don't run into errors now and later having to fix them. Was suggested several on social media group which helped. Very happyUser says:
My first 3d printer and it has been great so farUser says:
Assemble, slice, level, print.. easy as can be and seems much more reliable than my monoprice select mini with a bunch of upgradesUser says:
First 3D printer. Some reasonable learning curve. Take tour time with assembly and follow directions and you will be pleased with a quality experience.User says:
Update: took a bit of time but the seller and creality has taken care of me. Granted it's hard not to get a bed that's not warped, but some cheap yellow springs, glass plate, and manual mesh bed leveling will handle it just fine. This is a nice printer for the money. Be warned tho learning curve and some tinkering required for anything but pla filament. Pla is very forgiving.////////////////////Some of my my frame is scratch up, not that big of a deal, but the bottom of my heat bed is also scratched and is showing copper. The magnet bed had Nick in it AND the removable print bed plus was scuffed up. the glue on part to the bed has an edge that is not glued down may cause movement. I placed a straight edge on the bed and it seems it is warp. (Update after leveling for sure warped)The removable print bed was scuffed and had what I think is oil spots. The oil came off after rubbing alcohol. As for the damage to the heat bed bottom I have no clue if that spot is heating correctly as I don't have a IR camera also it's an electrical hazard.I have no clue why this is damage everything was packaged well, the z screw was in the black tube.Maybe this was used. I have emailed the seller will update if they respond. Too bad comgrow got great reviews from the webI will update and move this to 4 to 5 stars I'd they fix my problems as the printer seems great.
