Details【Upgraded V2.5 silent motherboard】 CR-10 V2 has adopted industrial self-researched motherboardbacked by TMC2208 ultra-mute drive. 【Two-way Sphenoid Heat Dissipation Fans】Dissipates heat immediately and drives away heat more evenly. Effectively reduces filament blockage and promotes aperture precision, producing better prints. 【All-metal Extruding Unit】stable feeding in filaments and wear-resisting, increased 10% stability of feeding and 3000times wear-resistance tests 【Golden triangle structure】 New structure to reduce errors due to the vibration of Z axis during printing.Dual lead screw Z axis design, gives much more stability and accuracy.Easy to install and save your time 【Resume Print & Filament Monitor】It can resumes printing after changing filament, power outage, or any other unexpected stoppage. When filament run out, printing will pause and alert user to restock the filament before continuing.
For the low price of this product compared to how high of quality it prints, this is a steal of a deal. This was my 1st ever 3d printer. The quality of prints it does is insane once you get it dialed in. This isn't really a plug and play kinda printer. These are mass produced printers at this price point so they're gonna take a little extra work than others. I got lucky with mine and everything on the base frame was straight from the get go. Some you get you'll have to tear the printer completely down and reassemble it to get it printing right. Once everything was dialed in I wasn't a fan of the magnetic bed at all. It was warped and it always left a rough surface at the bottom of my prints. So I decided to do some minor upgrades. I replaced the magnetic bed with a Creality glass bed $20 and a pei sheet for $15 to put on the glass and that drastically changed my prints with the smoothness of the glass and the adhesion of the PEI. Next I upgraded the flimsy springs and plastic knobs with the strong yellow springs and metal knobs kit $12 and my bed is way easier to fine tune the bed leveling and the springs hold the leveling for multiple prints for me. Lastly I added the all metal extruder to replace the plastic extruder and the capicorn tubing to replace the cheap white tubing it comes with, the kit was like $22. I highly recommend you calibrate the extruder because mine was like 10mm off. Its super easy and you can find the video on how to do this on YouTube. All you need is a digital caliper which I found on amazon for $10 and its a really useful tool for 3d printing along the way.User says:
I’ve had this printer for a month now and I love it. The magnetic mats warp when printed on though. Got a new OEM mat yesterday because the one that came with it was warped and bubbled after a few prints, and the new one wasn’t any better... it warped on the 1st print. The actual bed surface is fine though.User says:
The set up of this print will take you a little while. to level the bed with the print head is the hardest part. but once you get to leveled it is ease after that when you need to do it again. As for the print Quality it is one of the best printer to get started with and learn how to print stuff. Here is a print I did of a Springfield XDS 9mm. if you don't want to design things yourself, there is a lot of things on line that you can download and print. One of the best places to find STL files to print is STLFINDER.com. There is a lot you'll have to learn to get good prints, but for me this was good, i like to learn things.User says:
This 3D printer is great! I have prior experience with 3D printers, especially the Ultimaker 2+ printer, which worked great, but it was tired, and ready for an upgrade. This printer is VERY comparable to it! With the benefit of a larger print volume. Also, the upgradability of this thing is amazing! The first upgrade I did was the glass build plate and the silent board. I can't say it enough, once you get this printer dialed in, it's VERY reliable and prints excellent!!User says:
I just received 2 Ender5 printers and it did not come with the upgraded metal extruder. I will contact Amazon about this issue. Update: 8/12/19 Customer service send the metal extruder out next day. Product works great!User says:
Needs to be put together properly. Tuned for different materials. Remember to tighten all bolts firm and I had to cut the magnetic pad so that it wouldn't rub on the gantry. Make sure your driving belts are tight and snugly with the pulleys. Adjust heat on bed and filament after trials and you could pause or stop print to find the best settings. I like this machine a lot and will buy more. I didnt like the Creality CRX at all. This is cheaper and better built.User says:
It was a little awkward in getting the Z offset set properly. Not hard just different than what I was used to. The prints look great and I can print faster and still maintain the quality. I am very pleased with the Ender-5 3d printer. It was very easy to assemble as well. I do recommend the Ender-5.User says:
With a magnetic bed+PEI, BLTouch, and a few other parts, this prints almost as good as my Prusa MK3S My only problem with this was when I finally got around to installing the all-metal gearhead add-on. I had used the regular plastic extruder parts that came with it originally. However, after a month of printing, it started to wear out (as is common and the reason they make the all-metal parts). However, the spring with the all-metal extruder was way too weak. I needed to shim it with two small washers to make the clamping force between the extruder gear and the pulley much higher. I had been getting bad under-extrusion, but with the two washer shims, it is now running like normal.User says:
The Ender 3 Pro was my first 3D Printer and, it's been amazing. I'd recommend this printer to anyone who wants to get into 3D printing or someone who's looking for a second or third printer. Assembly can be a little tricky but if you're mechanically inclined at all you can do it. If you're reading this review, you're obviously interested. Do yourself a favor and buy it. You won't regret it.User says:
Didn't see a lot of reviews for this and wasn't familiar with the company reselling this Creality product. Took a chance and was not disappointed. Genuine Creality Ender 3 pro and works great. Got up and printing in an hour. You could assemble faster than that, but would advise against it. make sure your z axis is aligned to avoid z-axis binding issues and other print quality issues.
