I installed this on a X470 Asus Prime Pro mainboard with a Ryzen 7 3700x and on the latest (as of 9/2019) BIOS revision can achieve 3600 speed by just setting the DOCP setting in the bios. It also is nice to have some fairly subtle RGB addition, its bright enough but not insane. I left it at the default rainbow cycle function because i did not want another RGB control software on my pc, but im sure you can make some decent color profiles if you get it. In the range of DDR4-3600 memory this one seemed to be a decent balance between performance and price, as well as a brand name that is well known.User says:
Okay. Let’s be real. The ram is a little overpriced and you could get cheaper for better. However, the RGB effects on the ram are phenomenal. There are so many options and sequences to mess around using iCue. Corsair really did hit it home with the RGB Vengeance. Now performance wise, it’s damn near flawless. I haven’t experienced any issues with the ram except when I was installing windows, but that was a faulty motherboard. The ram doesn’t get above 40 C with the proper cooling, of course. Last but not least. The Ram is crazy easy to install, and to get it detected by iCue.User says:
I haven't had any issues with this RAM's stability or ability to reach the advertised 3600mhz, and I feel confident that, if I knew what I was doing, could push it further in a overclock. My problem with this product stems from the lighting. It works when it wants to. Every other RGB implementation in my system works with no issues except for the RAM. It refuses to sync with my other implementations and fails to light itself properly, admittedly semi-infrequently. When it does work, the RGB is quite beautiful though. While the RGB failing is a disappointment, everything else about the stick has worked well. Sometimes when you buy product, you get the poop-covered end of the stick, and based off the other reviews I briefly looked at, not too many others struggle with the same issue I do, so perhaps I just got unlucky.User says:
Looks amazing easy to install runs perfectly well pricedUser says:
I got this kit because I knew Ryzen 3 needed a kit with high speed, but decided to not go with the recommended 3200 kit. I see no difference between the two and would recommend 3200 if you are looking for best performance coupled with Ryzen, but I am not too disappointed looking back at it now. The kit looks great, even if iCue is clunky and not always working properly. I also am a fan of Corsair products.User says:
Great product. Has more lights than most other rgb ram. Only downfall is going through ice software when its unneccessary to do so.User says:
RGB...that's pretty much it. It's a good and reliable company for making desktop RAM. Get this if your want RGB, otherwise, the non-RGB functions just the same.User says:
Good ram, didn't overclock well but was impressed with compatibility with my Asus board and led lights are very nice and work well.User says:
RAM is greatly priced. Only downside is the CL18 which doesn’t really impact it all that much but it doesn’t like tighter timingsUser says:
Very fast and very pretty RGB memory. With an Asus B450-F Gaming motherboard and a Ryzen 3600 processor, the motherboard was able to overclock it up to 3733 MHz using the Auto overclock feature.
